In this season of my life, I intentionally keep this number small. That means, you'll share a month with only 1 other mama (at most)!

I value building a real relationship with each of he families I serve, so I leave ample space for that by NOT filling my calendar!

I heartily endorse Embrace Birth Journey, which is an entire library of courses rooted in physiological birth and faith in Christ. It's designed with home birth in mind, is freebirth-friendly, and covers pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, too!

Embrace Birth Journey

I have purposefully refrained from going through official doula-certification programs because I desire to be beholden and shaped by my relationship with birthing families more than by obligations to credentials.

That said, I have learned to do what I do by apprenticing with a midwife, observing many births as a photographer, reading lots of birth-related material, giving birth myself... and a gifting/calling from God!

Yes! I can and do build custom packages for what I call "wrap-around support" for unassisted birthers in West Michigan and across the US. This includes meeting together prenatally to holistically prepare for birth, as well as checking in after the birth to make sure you're doing ok.

I sometimes virtually attend births, but don't prefer to do this. In-person support is always best.
